Nice dude. It seems kinda dark though, might want to play with the levels a bit.
I'm sure it's been asked, but do you use reference when you draw? I like how you articulate everything.

if you made the orange in the background more intense, it could act as a source of backlighting. That would give the figure a reason to be as dark as it is. You might have to add some very specific highlights if you do that, but it's not too much work. Other than that, the figure is articulated well. Keep it up.:dead3:

Thanks for your comments! :]
I never use reference, it's all out of memory. But I do use construction.
I love Celia's work! Her progress through the years has been phenomenal, yet always stylish.
I'm glad you like the articulations, I had lot's of interference from some co-workers on that very subject, but I think I'm right at it too.
The textures were pics super-imposed. I did this in photoshop. It took me a while to figure out how to do it in painter (you just color over them with a layer set at shadow map blending mode) but I did so I might use more of that.
Btw, Anyone else find that painter made files require less tweaking to print-out afterwards than pshop made ones?

love the "come take me look" you pulled that off very well, but yeah I agree with Forge, but it doesn't look like her index finger, I think it's her middle finger (looks like it's twisted beyond realities mean) and aside from that the feet appear to have different scales to them.... but overall very cool, ligthen it up a bit (especialy on the girl), the darkness of it hides a good pic...

looks great... one thing though the bend on the top of her right forearm looks unnatural; usually that curve goes the other way or at least looks closer to flat. also, her right hand seems a bit large compared to her left (given the perspective) oh, and it might just be me but given where her right leg meets her left, it looks as though her right buttock is oddly placed... maybe a little low, maybe a bit too far to our right... maybe i'm just seeing things. finally, the cuffs of her pants make her ankles (esp her right) seem paper-thin. unless it's a really hard material (and it's probably denim) it should hang a little... especially if her right foot is dangling.
the background gives it a neat effect and i like the props... anyway hope that wasn't too hard to swallow

Yes her finger is broken, she must suffer for beauty. Thanks all for the comments, keep them coming.
