First piece from this newbie

Hey,
Struggling comicbook artist here I have seen alot of really good pieces from everyone so far and thought I would throw mine up here and see what everyone thought. This piece is sort of a portrait of my friend Tammi, done using both Corel photoshop and Paint let me know what you think.

Image was done in Paint then taken to Corel and Photoshop

Looks nice in general, might not want to draw these things in paint tho :). You a fan of pixel art by chance?

Yes and no, Computer art like what is done with Photoshop in conjunction to programs like Poser and Maya and Truespace yeah I like I like alot, but I am actually more of a comic book illustrator with a passion for coloring the images, bad thing is the version of Photoshop I have I have just never gotten used to working and painting with it like I should. But this was an hour doodle on the computer, I tend to do this alot even though I am just as effective on paper with pencil and pen.
