Hi, I'm new here! I'm very much a cartoon artist, working in vectors for the most part, but recently I've had the urge to try something more traditional. This is the first thing I've really got anywhere with, and before I get too far into it, I thought I'd throw it out here for crits and comments.
I think the anatomy is a little weak, myself, but other than that, I'd like to know where its major faults are.

first thing I will comment on is the proportion- exaggerating is okay once you understand basic human proportions. The legs look kindof short - think 2 heads tall for the upper leg and 2 heads tall for the lower leg. It looks kindof sketchy as to where the legs are exactly as well. I guess that'll be cleaned up as you progress...
My sketchbook is here (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71080)

I would say practice normal anatomy a lottttt before trying to make a fantasy type figure.

Thanks guys. I used to be okay at anatomy, but I haven't done traditional drawing in so long, it's just gone.
Maybe I should start doing a figure study every day. Something to think about. Thanks for the comments.
