These are just a handful of quick pen sketches of people on the beach and a couple trees. With the trees I was just trying to figure out ways to draw foliage without drawing every single leaf because I tend to have that problem.

I like the short lines with the pen. Although the hands seem a little bit small. Nice job of suggesting the foilage on the trees. I think you should keep up doing the edges of the foilage like you did on some of them, or at least vary the shading on the ones where you put it in densly.

The leaves are going well, but it is really boring to draw every single one of them :p
maybee you could try to block out with dark colours where they are on the branches and then, with some whiteout create some highlights and openings in the branches. hopefully that will create the illusion of leafs.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the small hands thing and I usually have that problem but I never seem to remember that when I'm actually drawing the hands....I'll keep your suggestions in mind the next time I do a tree as well.
