Artist: Ric Nicholls
Site: www.ricnicholls.com
Blog: http://riccardonicholls.blogspot.com/
If anybody is in need of an artist, I'm here for the hiring. Feel free to browse my portfolio and if you like what you see (you'll notice my art is clean and cartooney and somewhat stylized), don't hesitate to drop me a line or contact me via MSN Messenger at sllohcin@hotmail.com (or via e-mail... same address.)
I definitely have time to take on professional or indie projects/contracts at a very reasonable wage. I do logos to concept art to sequential work to character turnarounds to game art. A "Ric of all trades" if you will.
Cheers and I hope to hear from you.
Ric Nicholls
* Here's a few samples of my work.
The first is toy design (front view... of couse.) and the second is obviously a shirt design.
Remember, you can see a LOT more on my website.

I'm once again available for work... and here's a few pieces I've done up recently (the ninja pic is set on one of my portfolio print page format.) I did not draw the mermaid pic - I only inked and coloured it.

Nice mermaid...thank you for drawing breasts the way they naturally are (not like "comic-book boobs", as everyone else draws them...including myself, lol). I like your lines (clean & cartooney, as you say). What programs do you use?

Ya know, I never realized that I never gave credit where credit is due. I only inked and coloured that pic. The very talented Nate Piekos of www.blambot.com did the lineart (everything else I posted I did 100% myself.) I'm really sorry about that. I used FLASH to ink that piece (as well as my sequential piece I posted earlier) and Photoshop for my clean inking as well as all my colouring.

Beautiful works here. I like the mermaid the most. Because everything about her looks so natural.^^

Thanks Ebony-chan :)
Here's a few more pieces and I'm once again available for work (all done in FLASH and coloured in Photoshop.)
Only the wrestler is a paid piece... the rest are practice pics (NDA has it's mighty grip on me so unfortunately, I can only share what I'm allowed or do for myself.)

I'm readily available again for more work if anybody is interested :)
Here's a few more pics AND my website has gone through a MAJOR do-over. I still have some layout issues, etc. to work on BUT the galleries are all intact.

Hey, you have a fantastic style. I particularly like the toy design, and there's some fantastic stuff in your website.
I have a very interesting project for a Shadowrun MMO, unfortunately, it's a non-paying job. I undertand if you're not interested, but here's a link to my proposal at the non-paying jobs forum: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=96455

Thanks CrisLander, I wish I could help out but I gotta' keep with the paying gigs as my spare time is all about family and my own few personal projects.
So, here's a few more pics to hopefully garner some attention and some more work.
