Using some kind of brushes, giving fast strokes,PS just collapses!!!Seems like it can´t process all the data and goes down!It stop working and I have to close it,loosing all my progress.Maybe there is some way to make PS to run smoothly, disabling some options or something like that.My computer is new,so it has memory enough to run it.........I think!!!
Thanks for helping and sorry for my poor english!!

Maybe you should double check the memory, if you're not sure. However I doubt that's the problem, since I've only got 256 megs and I can run Photoshop CS.
How old is your version of Photoshop? If it's older than Windows XP (I assume you use Windows since I don't know jack about Macs and therefore couldn't help :)), there might be compatability issues. If you're running an older version of Windows, maybe there are bugs/issues with your particular version of Windows that are causing this.
Also, what are your Virtural Memory settings? Since Windows and all the programs you're running typically use more RAM than you have availble, Windows is setup to use your harddrive space as "Virtural Memory". However, Photoshop has it's own built in Virtural Memory settings, referred to as "Scratch Disk Space". If Windows is using up all of the availble hard drive space for Virtural Memory, then there's no room for Photoshop's Scratch Disk Space, meaning a potential program crash from unavailble memory resources.
You might also want to consider closing any other programs while running Photoshop. Especially anything in that lower right section of the screen. A lot of people don't seem to realize those are all programs that are currently open and running, thereby sucking up valuble resources.
Other than that, I dunno. In all honesty, Google might help more than I can (this isn't to say the more tech-savy posters here couldn't help more than myself). Technical forums or maybe even the Adobe website may give you clues as to what the heck is happening.

What are the specifications of your system, including models of components?
What OS are you running?
What version of PS are you running?
Are you using a tablet?
If you wait a minute or so does PS start responding again?
I assume you get no other concomitant error messages.

goto control panel -> administrative tools -> event viewer
select 'system' and see what - if anything - is listed after PS crashes
do the same for 'application'
Your specs seem fine by the way.
There have been problems reported (and that I have had the misfortune to experience) with certain USB controllers desynchronising with the tablet and causing it to stop responding. This could be related. I resolved the issue with a bios update. Does PS crash when you use the mouse to make strokes?
