Before I head into final detailing and add in all of the water vapour/droplets, I thought I'd post this painting of an abstract sea-side structure that I am working on. Any comments about the atmospheric perspective, lighting and texturing would be helfpful. I want to weed out the glaring errors and specifically, I'd like a little help bringing out the foreground elements a bit more.

C&C not just welcome, but asked for.

I'm not an expert here but I'll try to spare some watcher thoughts.

The down-left corner structure goes from front plane to second - you might accentuate the perspective on that "tube thing" to create a bigger distance there.

The top-right corner - under the "claw thing" - the shape that hosts the glass ball is not too clear! It looks kind of flat!
More contrast on front.. some blur in the back.. and... that's all I could think of right now!
Sorry - i wish I could help more!

Thanks for the tips. Your comments make sense, and I'll definately give more definition to the shapes you mentioned (that would have been my next step, at any rate). I'll have to skip forcing the perspective on the 'tube' though. I have to get on to other things. That's a good call, though. I'll watch for that sort of thing in future paintings.
