I think your figure is too dark to fit into that landscape.
If he is silhouetted in that way, the rocks by his feet would also be silhouetted and dark.
He should be lit and have shadows similar to the other objects in your scene.

Think about your lightsource. It seems to be coming from several different places to me, instead of just one.
