I've been studying graffiti recently, and I really love it actually. I was trying this attempt, I didn't finishe the right side of it, but it's a start.

What do you guys think? Anyone know anything about graffiti?

You have the right idea. Much of graffiti is the artists "handle"(nickname) or words presented as topics for the piece. example: Try picking some words that have meaning to you or that you find interesting(in definition). That will help you in creating the composition. Also look at calligraphy and text, see what styles exist. The amalgamation of those studies should give you some excellent ideas.

Hey! Thanks, yea from what I've studied with graffiti, from an artistic perspective, is the main points are this -

The flow is very important, it's got to have some kind of motion to it, which means composition is also important. The letters need to combine nicely. The color scheme also needs to be carefully selected, and is extremely important. And some kind of theme, in my case a blocky city theme was what I was going for.

I was trying to spell out rome actually, I'm not sure if it was effective or not.

Thanks for the help!
