Detail is impressive. but you should study some B&W photos to see how photographers emphisize shape and depth with lightning. it is hard to understand whats going on in your picture. It looks like flat messy texture. It would be hell of a war picture if you put some more time on lightning.
Or maybe it was ment to be like that?
anyways, that was first thing that popped into my mind.

you got great talent dude!use it!

regards,
anton

I think it was meant to look that way, alot of contrast and detail. Check out the white outlines on the main characters.

With the white outlines around every individual element in this picture, was this drawn in pieces and assebled together? There is a visable seam in the center of the picture. The detail is great, and confusing at the same time. There is almost too much happening in this picture.

It is fantastic though and I would like to see more and even a colored version would be awsome.

woah...wat is batman doing in this war???

anyway, u could use more depth in the drawing. everybody is competing for the foreground plane attention.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I want to say sorry for the center line seperation, my original image is A3 in size and i scanned it twice on both ends to try and match it. Can anyone teach me a better method to scan?

The white outlines is an experiment i use to force the characters out, guess that didnt work too.

The overall feel to the drawing is conflicting for me as well, i'm trying to maintain structure and order, but cant do that cause it's a War. So chaos.

So you guys can guess why I post my stuff up here to learn. Thanks for the comments, you guys are great!:chug:
