Bah, I just now friggin find out about Art Ateliers. I'm glad I found out about them. I know even if i did find out about them when i was looking at colleges that i wouldn't have given them much recognition. Now that I have had a taste of college ( a whole month oh boy so much so long of a time :D ) I think an atelier is more where i might want to learn. Anyone know of some good places I can read up about them? I'm going through this first year at least at CCS but I'll take a look at these ateliers. Are they anything like colleges? Do you need to submit a portfolio or anything? How much do these places cost compared to art colleges?

Hi Avetice...
In response to your question, check out the post titled, "Not so strange bedfellows" in the 'Art Schools and Education' section of this site. It'll tell you of a site that houses links to the webaddress of ateliers/academies... and it'll tell you about the one I attend: www.angelartacademy.com

I hope this helps :)

I'm a big fan of the ateliers. Not the only way to go, but a great way nonetheless.
