I was thinking about a definition for the new art style that collects influences from comic art, illustration, video games, in a pastiche-like form, but with a background of contemporary art; images with a strong circulation out of the circle of art galleries, contemporary art magazines, contemporary art museums.
I mean artists as Michael Hussar, Mark Ryden, Nicola Verlato:

Ephraim Katz, author of The Film Encyclopedia, has defined exploitation as:

Films made with little or no attention to quality or artistic merit but with an eye to a quick profit, usually via high-pressure sales and promotion techniques emphasizing some sensational aspect of the product
