A new piece for my portfolio. I started with a light corvette in my mind, but later I thought that the design fits better as a utility corvette. Hope you like it.
Careful, fresh paint! :)

I liked this piece enough to go check out the rest of your website and I was very impressed. Not many people can handle mechanical and organic objects with equal skill; very well done.
My only criticism with this piece is its lack of scale reference; you're calling it a corvette, which makes me assume its got a crew of more than one person. However, the ship in this image could be the size of a small fish, I can't tell.
Please post more!

Just put a few people looking at it on the bottom somewhre to do the scale thing. I like this picture, the colors are nice, and the glowing effect was done perfectly I think.
Oh, and I think the wings on the top are a bit wrong, the look like the are bent and going to the right. Maybe its just me though.

i really like the linework, design and coloring of the utility corvette.
imo, the backround works a'ight with the subject. i think the background and the text do not work well together. i think if you move the text out of the center and made it a darker blue (that of the background color) and applied a type of blending mode to it to complement the piece as a whole, it may look better.
great work, beautiful design.

Thanks for the crits guys. Now I have a lot of things to change in this piece :D
incognito, looks indeed bit awkward, but I assume it's only an illusion (?!)
Loga4, Thanks. I made it because I love to do this kind of things :)
DragonGX, well I dont have any WIP images, but I'll keep this in mind for the next one.
Killingpeople, I'm not very confident that I understood what you mean by: ...and applied a type of blending mode to it to complement the piece as a whole. Please can you explain that a bit. Thanks.
I'll post soon the improved version. Thanks again.

Nice form and details. The decals and markings you put on the revision are a nice touch. I also like the flat shaded sort of coloring style you used. However, the green lighting coming from the thruster could use a bit more work. With a light source that intense, I'd expect that green to be reflecting off more surfaces on the ship instead of just cutting off in a circle. Personally, I like how you handled the background in the original image. The contrast is a bit better and the background could actually be lighter to add more contrast with the ship.
