I wonder if this this forum have any tips regarding industrial design or product design schools?
Perhaps its slightly off-topic but when I submitted my portfolio to where I study now, I looked to this forum for tips regarding sketching.
Also, for anyone reading this thread, perhaps I missed it, but is there a thread for people with experience studying abroad?

Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) is pretty good.
Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is becoming better each year and works frequently with large companies. Last year the students designed a motorcycle for Red Bull to be used in the Grand Prix. Also, from what I hear, many of the students in the Industrial Design program are from other countries. You can read a good thread about it here:link (http://boards.core77.com/viewtopic.php?t=10384&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15&sid=87587e864bdad1dfdf7cb3ea89468605)
Oh, and that same forum is for Industrial Designers. They have a board for school questions, so you might find more answers there. :)
aaaaand one more school.
Auburn University- it's okay, the town isn't too exciting (I grew up there). It's pretty strong in the more mundane objects, not so good on transportation design. Cost of living and tuition is cheaper than the previous schools mentioned though......
I'm an Industrial Design major myself and those three schools are the ones I have knowledge on. :) (I attend Auburn & am transfering to SCAD)
