I´m creating this new one because I got a cam from my sister so now I can continue showing my slow progress in the art world....some day I´ll got there... and hey guys please send critics(could be something brutal but I hope thats the only way to get better soon as possible) thanks...

my suggestion is try to break the head down into 3d shapes..ask yourself where is front and side and how can i show that? where is the front/side of the nose? the chin? etc.

First things first - You might not have the $$/time/resources to invest in a scanner, but it might be something you want to look into. If have a friend who has a scanner, by all means take advantage of it :) If you really do not have a scanner handy, make sure you photograph your stuff in good lighting.

all that aside, good werk so far.

It may take a few lines and some erasing to get your idea or study onto paper just the way you like it, don't be afraid of making some gestural lines or any other kind of guidelines. Like rodrigo said, it will help you a lot to break your figures down into simple shapes and refine their forms from there.

Hi guys thanks Rodrigo and bunny....Finally I bought a scanner..So now everything is clearer than before, I’ll start by posting some old works(some of them maybe was already posted here but, with bad quality)… and than updating constantly ..I alsso starts drawing class with a local artist called Sérgio russo… He´s a really good teacher and I’ve been enjoying having some formal education..So later on I post something that I started at class..for now just old studies .I Change. The color and make some constrast correction from scanner but all the values were conserved . C&C are welcome !!! see you!

Lovely skull study!
It would be awsome if you went in with a white pencil crayon/white charcoal and hit the highlights, would really give it some depth :)

Keep on doing those head studies! Watch those proportions and symmetry :)
