Hi all,

First post where I post what I draw. Or what I have drawn should I say, because I have taken my first drawing lessons during last year. I then felt the need to learn to draw, but I have not continued. Maybe I should. Anyway, I had a real pleasure drawing these, even if I see a lot of defaults.

I'll try to post more recent images soon.

Please feel free to critique, give advices etc :)

Byebye !

you seem to be on the right track there. only thing id say right off is they seem a bit tight; try to loosen up a bit and let it come to you rather then forcning it out, and work from models if you get the chance. im not sure which these are from, what did you use for reference?

The torso one was from a life model. The others were from drawings.

What do you mean when you say "loosen up a bit and let it come to you rather then forcning it out" I'm not sure to have understood :)

Thx for the comments. I'll try to post more one day...

Hey, a frenchie guy !
Well, i'm not that good into drawing but, i'm quite good in american language, soooo:
I think he wanted to say: "fait des traits plus legers et fait venir ton inspiration de toi meme plutot que de forcer les traits (du perso)"
huh, I hope this will help :p

Hum, I like your torso's drawing !

not off to a bad start. Definitly I think you need to get loose. I dont know how big these are but try and use large paper and draw as big as you can. try some quick sketches or gestures to get you started, sketches that just capture the essnce of the pose without a lot of detail. These exercises might seam pointless to someone just begining but they help alot later on allowing you to make more detailed drawings keep that spontaneous feel.

Hmm yes that's what I heard many times. I'll try to do that.
For the moment I try to have good feeling drawing some spheres with inside lines, trying to get comfortable.

I'll try to scan new stuff and get critiques on it too.

Thanks a lot for all your comments.
