AztcFireFlower , i can't, because all pics in this thread was done less than 2 hours. I'll try next time save at checkpoints in various files and i'll post their here ;).
Badaboom , for main skin shape i used smooth round brush with wet edges and for small details square brush with max sharpen edges.

i love your portraits, especially the one you're using as the thumbnail right now. She's so soft and luminous. It seems your stuff is on a much higher level when you spend more time on it trying to work it out than some of these really quick sketches. But any practice is great. Love your art!

Is it hard to find a job as a concept artist in Russia? Obviously it'll depend on talent and location but what would you say?

No, it's not hard to find a job in Russia as an artist. . Just VERY hard to find interesting game project or interesting job in gamedev industry corresponding of ambitions. In russian gamedev industry much of small porjects, casual projects or anything projects except interesting big games. Or they are, without good salaries.

For some unknown reason I like the B\W image better than the coloured. Even though the lighting is so frikkin sweeeeet in the last one, I guess I just liked the dirty look and feel of the first. But that's just stupid me.

Looks like there is a human-head behind the mask, but then I would say the rest of the body is pretty thin compared to the head :P -unless it's a part human, part robotic design... :)
-tighten it a little more. detail-wise.
