So here is my second go at color work with Photoshop, thought I'd show everybody before I finished to get some opinions on the direction this piece is taking.(BTW the drawing is from an awesome artist named Jake Parker, check out his website at: http://www.agent44.net/ ) Let me know what you think and how its coming....
Thanks

Hmm, i really like your line quality with this, very clean and presice, exactly the point of concept art.

another artist made the lineart, he just colored it. Nice clear coloring though.

Maybe you should flat your piece first and then define a precise light source. This kind of dynamic might require some dramatic lighting (I'm not talking to the extent of german impressionism!).

Thanks for the feedback, I just recently found a website dedicated to the colorists trade and they mentioned the same thing, so I'm going to have to try that. This piece is a low-res practice so I might try to find a better res picture to try that technique on. This is my second attempt and I was proud of my first and thought I seem to be pretty good at this(not to sound cocky) but its funny how when you delve into somthing a little more vigorously you find there can be a lot more to it than you think. A fun challenge I guess.
Again Thanks
