So who saw terminator 3?? seriously i almost pee'd. I was so shocked with how good it became... I almost feel guilty for not having more fun with the terminator 3 contest we had here, if I only knew how amazing it was going to become.

Did anyone think this movie was better than matrix 2? I think it was much better paced and I really saw nothing to complain about... with the matrix 2 my list of things to complain about is MASSIVE :p

Just saw it tonight, i also thought the pacing was well thougthout. However, somewhat disappoainted with **ending**. Also, they made Arnold look a bit too... lame in a few scenes. I wanted a bit more i guess, but excellent concept art, check out the website i think there might be some there. Great FX! Over all, i give her a 7 out of 10.

I liked it as well... I thought it was gonna be super lame, but it wasn't. But the main thing that didn't make this movie a 10 outta 10 for me was John Conner... the guy who played the part in t3 did an okay job, but after seeing t2 a million times Edward Furlong is the true John Conner.... I definately want a t4 after seeing the ending of t3 though... and I personally like the ending, so =p

i'm so going to see that one when it hits germany :)

honestl, i always thought t3 will be a good but basic and simple action movie. just the right thing to sit there and watch.

I *Genuinely* enjoyed this flick, and that happens rarely for me with major 'blockbusters' like this. I was happy there wasn't a single Bullet time scene too.

"RELAX!" that and "talk to the hand" were the best quotes I think. That movie rocked!

Yeah that ending kind of caught me off guard... Looks like they're gonna try to make this into a quintilogy or something...

I'm not really sure which John COnnor I think works better, though. THe guy in the new one definitely wasn't as edgy and aloof as in T2, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Does anyone know why they didn't get him or Linda Hamilton to act in this one? I'm guessing it has something to do with James Cameron's absence fromt he movie.

First of all, this movie was a great addition to the Terminator franchise. I think one of the main reasons why they didn't cast Edward Furlong is just because.. well, he still doesn't look a whole lot different. He just doesn't look the part at all in my opinion, he was great for T2 tho. As for Linda Hamilton, I don't see how she woulda worked in the movie... they woulda had to string her along for a bit and then kill her, and I doubt they wanted to do that.

good additions... I know there is going to be a T4 you can just tell.. But I think if they are going to use arnold they better start writing and working on it.. He is getting old.. BUT... he was pretty damn bough.. I swear he has some huge titties..

yeah I think the new John Connor, whatever the actor's name is.. did a good job.. I think he could of acted a little more edgey, but all in all it was a solid action flick.. the whole chase seen with the truck.. DAMN! I thought after it ended.. that was a fucking long chase seen...(but in a excited good way)

I heard that toyota is coming out with a special T3 Tacoma, because it was used in that chase seen.. *shrug* could be a rumor... *goes to there site to check* me bad.. the tundra... *shrug*

I also like the long fist to fist fight scene in the bathroom.

so noone else found t3 histerical?
the terminatrix gave the terminator a huge weggey in the bathroom scene... john connor measures c4 by how many supercomputers it can blow up... everyone will be back! the list of hilarious scenes continue intentional or not. but i would have to say the worst line, by far, in the movie would be in the scene were john's future wive's father dies and a hoverjet shoots a missle into the room because about 20 seconds later the terminator says its not safe here we must move on ( i kind of had to slap myself at that point )

it certainly lacked that epic feel that cameron brought to T2...it never really felt intense either.
but maybe thats just me, and lono.
im not saying it was god awful though...cause there are plenty of worse movies.

i dunno...it seemed almost like a "made for tv" movie..

oh and that cameo of the psychologist from T2??
wtf, totally unnecessary.

thought it was great. better than i expected. some people didnt like the ending, but i thought it was awesome. screw the good guys!

try not to expect it to be better than t2. it didnt have to be for me to enjoy it.

well i havent seen it, but in response to davi's comment: did you think it was better than matrix 2? A lot of movies are better then matrix 2, i felt there were so many useless parts in that damn thing. I think X-men 2 was way better than matrix 2.

Ill go see t3 so i can say who i liked/disliked it. It bet it will suck ass!

That movie was totally post modern. It was completely self referential. So many scenes were rehashes from T2, but they knew they were rehashes so they flipped it up a bit. Every time Arnie put on glasses was comedic gold. All and all it was closer to retarded than to epic, but I still enjoyed myself.

wooo man... all people here have seen the film... or will watching soon, and me not yet... it can't be possible... :o

I my country terminator 3 will be in theaters very soon. the t1000 seems to be indestructible in terminator2 but how is of powerful and indestructible the terminator woman? :D is so destructible as her beauty?

the only point that I dislike is that Arnold is not the same Arnold of terminator2 :)

I'm very impatient to watch the "peli pero que ya"

hey Incognito: I saw and interview with Arnold and he says that the chase scene with the crane and truck flip etc was not going to be shot due to budget constraints so he paid for it himself... 1.4 million. Just thought you'd like to know.

I haven't seen it yet but am totally surprised at the reaction its getting... maybe I misjudged it. I initially thought that it will have serious cheese factor, but you guys make it sound cool.... hmmm.

I just saw Pirates of the Caribbean and I thought that shit was off the hook!!! Didn't Puddn'head work on the concept art for that? or am I mistaken?

Tedsuo
July 10th, 2003, 01:17 PM
Oh. make no mistake, the cheese factor is high. It's just bree, not velveeta.

I liked that movie. It wasn't as epic or as dark as the two first, but what can we expect from a (3rd!) sequel. And I didn't like John Connors actor either; that scene by the camping truck... "Wait a minute! It all makes sense!!!" Scooby warning on that one.

But all in all, it was fun. And the Elton glasses were just great!

man that movie was not good, alot of people point out my problems with it already, either celebrating or wincing. it's almost a matter of principle that when an apocalyptic movie's lead meathead says "talk to da hand" that the film becomes utter garbage. there was no story, the effects were middle of the road, nothing impressive in the land of cg and whoever it was earlier was right, it was almost a complete rehash of t2 without the drama. i give it two poos out of 10. just see pirates and save yourself the money, see t3 when it hit's the double feature matinee with cyborg (feat. van damme)

I think that T3 sucked.

T2 was so fat and juicy, especially if you compare the characters and the relationships. I just loved how boy teached the robot in T2 and stuff like that. it gave the movie much more dimensions beside the action.
T3 had some good classical terminator action though, but I think it doesnt make the movie complete.
Its like with painting.. T3 had some good dynamics but its lacked colors, depth and point.
