Colorist Work

First post so I hope this is going in the right section. I was shown this line art by a poster on another forum and thought I would try my hand at Photoshop coloring. This is my first attempt but I've found its quite fun and I wouldnt mind finding out what it takes to do this on a professional level(any help from knowledgeable pros out there is appreciated). I've attached a pic of the work so let me know what you think...opinions and crits welcome.
