hi
I started this piece this morning. I'm just wondering if i'm heading in the right direction here and if there's anything so far you guys think I could change. I know the sketched leg guides are a bit off perspective, but I can fix that later.
I was hoping to create the robot using a victorian, celtic, medievil influence.

It seems good,. as you said, the legs are too small as regards the body, maybe the hands is too big in comparison with the head...
I like that nice pattern on the body!

I know you've probably heard it a thousand times...but start up that life drawing , it will really help you to get down that anatomy...you can't be pressured enough to do it, its the fastest way to learn.
Also i think the patterns you got goin on in the shin guard, torso, and shoulder although cool, are a bit overdone. If you look at it it comes off as a very detailed but too detailed.. I think it would have been nice if these patterns were to come together to make some sort of image that the audience could pick out, maybe like a face or something, right now they're too strong for the eye to look at for more than a couple seconds.
