Getting Better or I hope so...

A simple character design, but I focused hard on the colors I used and tried to evolve my painting style a little, any C&C is welcome. I hope in my future works that I can slowly lower the anime tone bit by bit...I know the anime will always show because it is my style but I do not want it to be "just" a typical anime picture.

I will be slowly cutting out more and more black lines and choose more realistic color tones...I decided to just take it easy because I'll get to the quality and style I want : P

the BG is just filler.:nohope:I decided if I want to learn how to paint a BG "just do it" while painting my actually character, sooner or later the BG's will look good.

You're aware of the BG issues so I'll leave those. Figure looks pretty good. The face is maybe a bit too bright compared to the rest of the body and the BG, and a bit of color variability in the rendering would add some life, especially more blues in the dress from the sky. Good start though.

Her chest and legs are out of whack. The chest is proportionately wrong and the legs are off big time...I think the knees are too low or the lower leg is too small...
