Here's something from my sketch book....been inspired by bio-mech lately......any colour scheme requests? Now that I look at it, seems like I could shift the head to the right of the paper a bit more.
Inspired by SParth's and SpineFinger's work!!!!
serious crits only please.
Regards to all:)

thats awesome, id personally make the metal parts look rusted and old so some beat up coppers and silvers, the organics could be anything really... i like it alot.

Orange and blue...just cuz I like those colors.

Red for the gums and stuff white for teeth, dark green for organics, navy blue metal for the metallic stuff with rust here and there maybe?

i think the colors in an oxidized peice of copper would be a good color scheme.

Great work first off, But why is his right leg so much smaller then the left, being as it's closer to the viewpoint. Unless you wanted it that way, just doesnt seem right :). Nice work all the same.

Dev:...you're right about the leg size......also I've purposely made the horns bigger as well.....:)....I just didn't want it to look too symmetrical.

wow, this is really something.
I just love the painted metal texture you have given to it. Probably lots of hours:)
Really good job!

Ant4d:... it took me a no more than a total time of a couple of evenings..one for drawing and one for colouring.....15 mins here and there while watching "the Fifth Element"....I would love to reduce it to a total of no more than a couple of hours)..... I'm still working on that but getting there slowly but surely...just lots of practice will do it:)

It looks very nice....but one small sugestion....try to make the teath in the upper part of the mouth a bit brighter....like on the sketch.....that would make the pic a bit deeper....

....oh btw nice concept to mix a mech with an organic creauture.....

looks great, especially the pencil sketch.
I think the head should be brought out a bit more in the color version as to me its edges gets lost against the body.

Very nice. When I first saw the pencil drawing, I was wondering how you were going to paint it. Very nice use of color.

first of all, I love both the sketch and the painting, the only crit I have is that on the sketch the Head looks like the focus point, because the tail and back kinda fade...., and on the painted version the tail looks like the rest of the body plus the red on the top of the monster pulls my eye away from the head and teeth....which I think works better on the sketch.....
