Hey guys, I just joined about 20 minutes ago and figured I give this a shot. I mostly work with pencil and charcoal, but I would like to venture more into painting. I'm only 16 and I'm here to learn, so please, tell me what you think and where I should improve. Thanks. :D

Hey, welcome to CA. Good start of a sketchbook. Loads of talent for your age. That self portrait is especially nice and the Man of Steel has a cool design. You have a good eye for life details and stuff, but I don't think it carries on as much to your unreffed works.(atleast from what I can tell what's from ref) I'd say you just need to study proportions and understand exactly whats happening. After that, you'll be unstoppable! haha
well, keep it up and I'll prolly visit back often.
