She seems a little broad backed. But maybe that's just me.

That's totally sweet! I dig the design. I dig your painting style in general, btw.

Not sure if it's your intention, but based on your previous Yodalisques and the placement of her lightsaber, thrusting her hips out could increase the... suggestiveness of the pose. :D

Just a thought, and I'll take it down if you dislike PO's

EDIT: Changed it to a link to prevent confusion...

That's an amazing rendergin, tegehel!

The only crit is that the helmet is a little bit off, but who cares...:)

Hey there!
First of all iīd like to thank you for your contributions you did before. I really like the stuff you do!

But there is something strange about that last pic of yours.

One thing that came to my attention was her body. Somehow it looks out of proportion. I donīt really know if it is the legs that are rather thin for that huge body. And they seem to be kind of stiff. Well I just looked at your pic again, and I am pretty sure that there is something about the legs, canīt really point out what it is though.

Another thing that came to my attention is that lightsabre.
It looks kind of small. More like a light-knife...
But that might be more of a personel preferance.

Anyway, I like your yodalisque series a lot, just wanted to give some constructive crits. Hope it was of any use!
el_kyrre

WOAH! just realized i just looked at Tedsuos pic the whole time! :bash: <- me stupid!
Donīt know if those things iīve said work out on the origiginal pic. Maybe only the sword thing...

Wow, Tegehel, you are improving your skills...

I love the dark atmosphere and how the light outlines the figure.

Congratulations! :chug:

Well tHAT was unexpected !
The only thing I could spot is the head seems to be disproportionate to the body. Even with a helmet such as this considering the eyes are so far appart. Besides that, the PVC looking material is awesome ! :)

like said before the eyes are a bit apart looks a bit odd. other than that other than the pose is a bit too straight,. its awesome. well painted

Why not a female jedi, that's emanzipation.
Looks very cool!
Maybe a red lightsaber would cause red light-effekts on her,but maybe she would loose some coolness then.

I say make her lightsaber a bit bigger, but thats it. I love this, make it a poster, Sell it, I WANT TO BUY IT! :) thats about it.

what is lighting her? the sabre?

the neon red from the sabre would be in the highlights

Davi: she is lit by the dark side! Hehe bad joke.

The cylander of the breather is tweaked toward us a tad, and her lower legs are longer than the top ones, but really not noticable. I like the symplicity of the costume, but the mask seems kinda uninspired compared to the rest of the design, just because we all know what Darths helmit looks like, and on her it doesn't help her look intimidating.

Great painting!

I dont know if the helmet design fits, but that may be me.

I think some subtle red on the background figure's head plates would be good

Excellent stuff. Maybe a liiiitle stiff. Body doesn't look out of proportion to me at all. I mean, she doesn't fit into the Greek "golden rectangle" ideal... but she doesn't look like a freak.

I also think that the lightsaber is the right "length" since it is actually angling away from us. It makes sense.

My two cents.

wow...dark vader "changed" a lot :p ...i like this pic a lot..textures of her skin and her suit are really well done..perhaps this pic is a little bit too dark...... the helmet a little bit too low on her face ( compare to the original dark vader )...and the aera between her eyes a little bit too large...(but i know nothing about painting.....i certainly write a mistake..)

Thanks to all who commented.

Bammer: it might be personal taste. I like it that way, strong woman who exercize.

Tedsuo: ahaha! funny man, I like that. I wasn't going for the overly sexual in this one, just try to make a sexy jedi. Contrary to public belief, it is not a femal version of Vader per se, although it is obviously similar. I think your pose is quite funny and maybe I'll do something in that "tasteful pose" in the future :)

Fozzybear: thank you. Indeed, now that you mention it...ok, I will fix that at the next update.

el_kyrre: thank you very much. I won't comment about the Tedsuo thingy :) As for the 'saber's length House Hatke got it right: it's angled away so with perspective, it looks slightly smaller (then again, what defines the size of a lightsaber?) For composition purposes, I kept it the size you see here, but I will experiment with it and post a result in the next update, if appropriate.

Cassandra: thanks a lot. Same to you, I must say. Your last post is quite nice too.

egerie: thanks (I guess?) I'm not sure how to read the "that's unexpected" part, but I'll take it as a compliment unless told otherwise, huh? heh. Two things about the head: about the eyes, you are absolutely right. I missed that. I will fix it in the next update. As for the head size, however I disagree for two reasons: If you look at Knights' helmets or Samurai's helmet (that's what Vader's based on) you will see that they are disproportionate, mainly due to the thickness and protection. Knights look very funny indeed. Additionally, gas masks tend to also make your head look bigger (I know I used them in the Army...horrible but useful). However, there are areas that I will work on that might help a bit. See next update.

endregan: thanks a lot. That stiffness is on purpose, like pretty much everything else in that picture. Stiffy, etc...you get it, right? :)

Jan, thanks. Yes, I experimented with red highlights instead of white, and it's really not as cool, so I decided that, like purple/ultraviolet bulbs (the refliection is white while the aura around the bulb stays purple), the reflection of this lightsaber is reallly the white light, and the aura is...something else (a bit of Force perhaps?).

incognito: ah! that would make me some money :) thanks. But unfortunately, I can't do that because I'm using materiel that is a bit too close to the existing franchise. Even though I'm using it for personal purpose only, as a parody, I still can't legally make money out of it. Feel free to print it though.

davi: The lightsaber does and some light from outiside the panel. See Jan's response for the red reflections. In this case, I went for cool instead of realistic.

DustinTrimble: thanks. The breather is actually based on the Swiss gas mask and is a bit tweaked too, though you know, that might just be the reference I use. I'll check that for the next update. As I said before, it's not Vader, not even a female version of Vader, though indeed, she looks similar. I went for PVC/Gas mask for the S&M/Bondage scene, so it's not really about intimidation (not in that sense anyway).

darkcult: thank you. Will do!

House Hatke: thank you. The stiffness, again, see above. The two cents are prettu much my 2 euros :)

tyboogie: thank you. The lighting is explained above :) Has for the breast shoulder, it doesn't bother me, but I'll look into it. If I fix it, you will see it in the next update.

behemot5: thanks, since it's not Vader I'll just say that I agree with the eyes and will fix that. The rest is just my personal taste, I guess?

Thank you all for you comments. I will update it relatively soon.

Subtle changes in general. I didn't go for the red reflections because it didn't look as good as the white ones. Eyes are now one eye apart. The Helmet has been reworked too, as well as the gas mask and some parts of the costume.

Is there anything else you see?

BTW, thanks to all you said something. I appreciate.
