honestly i agree too, even my sketches for the illustrations i feel are better, i just tighten up when doing the final instead of being lose, like when im doing sketches. thanks

try to spend more time on your work aswell dude, like spend a couple of hours on it then leave it for a day or 2 then come back to it and youll have more fresh idea in your head which will improve it. :)
