this piece was done in photo shop and painter and added textures in artrage2.
i was suddenly inspired by the models in Milan while drinking my cup of tea this morning, they have these thick layer of make up that entirely cover their eyelids... in this piece i recreated it like a Post Victorian era style combining it to todays weird model make up
heres a closer look on the painting

good work, it reads very well. at this point if u are trying to take it any further. try and really pick at the details to make her form believable. she looks a bit flat particularly at the bridge of her nose. u should be able to push those highlights and shadows a little further so that her form really stands out. perhaps bring out the contrast in her hair as well, if u darkend up the dark spots it should add nice contrast to her face as well as the background instead of washing out.

You need to figure out the forms and planes of the nose. The way you've handled the cast shadowmakes it look like a flat shape floating in front of her face.
Keep working on it, it's worth it.

here's my take on the nose, I just softened the shadows a bit to give it a rounder look, hope that gives you some idea of what the others were talking about.

hi,
I'll not talk about your drawing, because I dont know much about drawing.
In real life light rays bounces everywhere, every little space in life receive a ray of light which has properties like intensity, color, atmosphere obstacles, etc... In your painting, you are working with a very limited range of luminance, I mean shadows and light has much more depth than you've painted.
About your colours I think you need to add more relations also. The skin needs a subtely variation of colors... you can add blues inside the reds, greens inside the yellows... It's almost infinity.
I did a quick paintover, trying to explain you this.

I hope that helps.
