Very sorry if this has been posted already. Anyhow, this is not the worst weather I've seen when it comes to ice but I'm puzzled as to why in the hell would the people think they could drive in it.
I was in a public transport bus one day when we skidded sideways down a hill in Montreal. The neatly parked row of cars didn't like us... grindgrindgrindgrindgrindstop

Yeah I saw this a few days ago too.. I stayed home for most of last week and the beginning of this week for this reason.. I just sit at home and watch and laugh at the cars piling up and get abandoned on the interstate. They never learn...

It looks like the first guy, in the Durango, tries to get out of the situation by panicing and stomping on the gas.. The result is hitting some cars, a wall, a pole or two, then bouncing into 4-5 more cars.. while sliding in reverse. That should be a fun conversation with the insurance company.

Don't know if you guys have heard anything about the crazy ice storm that hit the Midwest, but man its been hell around here. There are soo many people and businesses without power. One of the strangest ideas they had here was to make an ice rink into a temporary shelter. But not long after people started showing up, they lost power. :\
