Why new Sketchbook?

Because I don't like old one. Simple thing, simple resolve. In fact, there is a deeper thing about this - A lot of time passed out, I got a tablet, and for now, evertything I draw, I draw on this piece of plastic stuffed with electro'chippy'thingie... So I decide to start new Sketchbook that will be full of new, full-colored images from my fight with this tablet beast. Erm. Somebody read this? No? Ehm. I like chocolate pudding. Truly, its so softy in taste. Munchy. Puddingmonster? This is COW topic idea  ... Yeap.
Enough writing, start posting stuff...

^ This one is based on Cabrera Video Tutorial "Watch'n'Learn", as you possibly know.
I try my best, but it was a real battle with my nerves and my endurance...
But it is finished, hopefully I think, it isn't a total crap.

^ Inspired by Chuck,Mate sketchbook, I think, that drawing space races heads could be funny kind of training.
You can easily see, which one was created at the beginning of my work (lesser quality, indeed...),
and which one was created last (you do not guess - better quality, indeed...).

^ And this one, is the Golden Guddle Greaper, a creature breed by dwarves because of its abilities.
This one takes me about 1 and half hour. A lot of time work such not so good work. :P

brand-NENENEW you say?!?! meat!

Liking the designs a lot! looks like you concentrate mostly on what the face looks like (which is fine) but you might want to consider silhouette more. The more interesting you can make the silhouette of what you're designing, the more interesting the entire thing will be; people don't have an attention span designed to take their time to look at texturing or pockets or spots or nostrils - they see spikes and guns and wings and flagella.

Also - with the heads - they're a little off center. Not by much, but it might also help if you were to sketch out the skull structure a bit first.

hurricane (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/member.php?u=99): Thank you very much ;)
panda: Thanks to you too. And big thanks for great advise about drawing the skull'n'silhouette before full face image, I try this technique :)

Yeap, so for now, something completely different.
I have work to do. Much work. 24 pictures and only nine days left.
I don't know how I can manage my time, to do all pics in terms. Nah.
For what I draw now? For polish Boardgame, "Konkurencja" - a little funny
game about big shops fighting for customers... and so, I present to you six
type of customers!

I like the character style in your last post, but still think the thumb you chose for your avatar is the best one so far. Great, juicy colours and a nice organic texture. And it scaled very nicely to 100x100, didn't it!

MOAR.

The customers in post #5 are some of the coolest drawings I've ever seen.
Unique style, great colors.

AWESOME stuff!

Hey there. I think you would love Illustrator as your art seems to have very subtle change in gradation. I like them. Good luck in the future:)

Yes I know! ;) Lack of contrast in my works is soo lame! But behold! I try to make it from now, I try to...
Thanks for nice comments!
So, time to reactivate this old corners and drop some fresh stuff around here.

1. The WIP of some space guy in some kind of space soldier light assault suit. Yeap, not very innovative, but I enjoy drawing of it ;)

2. Next WIP (but close to the finish!) - this time, a Testicals Bird! I name it Cocky... Jesus, I swear, I don't know from where this idea come from!

3. And a very quickie one from today, an evil make for the role playing game called Drobniaki (very umaccurate translation: LittleFellas).

hm - drobniaki dude is a bit unbalanced - his left leg is longer than his right and he's falling over.

Your imagination remains sick. Try to be more careful with balance and proportions though.
