Here is the finished piece, using only a few pencils, HB B2 B4 B6 on A3 cartridge, used a clip from the net as I thought it would look better converted into a fine art pencil sketch. Time worked: 6-7hrs

I say, that sure is some fine work.

my one complaint is that her left hand is bothering me some. maybe one of the more experienced can point out whats actually wrong about it but its off... i think it may be a little big.

her upper chest also looks unfinished as there is no value in it at all. but i will be the first to admit im a nub.

I was never really happy with her left hand, and just completed it as seen, your probably right about her top looking bare (i.e., no pencil) I was tryingh to get the light hi-lighted on her soft white flesh, and I reckon I couldn't get the pencil ligt enough.

Thanks for the comment, mucho appreciated....

She sure is beautiful! My favourite part is the legs. The face and hair is nice too

hot stuff, with the left hand it looks to me like the top part of the finger is too long or the palm is too long, im probably wrong, just wondering. But beautiful pencil work :bashful:

Very nice!

You should've drawn her feet though

About the left hand...it looks like that first knuckle is just a little bit too long.

Sweet stuff, otherwise.

make the highlight on the left arm skinner,
show more lighter values in the hair (not too many, but to better show the flow behind the head so it brings the eyes down across the picture easier,
maybe not so much a stark contrast on the right arm/elbow.

just my few coins

Really nice piece, some good contrast, personally though I would have worked a few more midtones in there to give the character a bit more depth/volume, but it could have been the scanner I know how they tend to lose information. The anatomy is really strong, I gotta agree with everyone about the left hand though, it's a bit off.. a little reworking and this one would be killer.

Very nice work. I agree about the hands. The left thums needs refining. Wondeful stuff. You are a master of the grappite sir!!

nice drawing! The foreshortening on her right arm looks a little awkward to me. Can you post the original image you drew from?
