an undated sketch page (I think from last saturday) and yesterday's sketches. As you can see, I'm okay with faces/heads, but seriously need work in the figure area. (All sketches are digital, and have been gone over several times, and I deleted the initial layers--would people like to see those?)

Your struggling with the same thing I am. Construction. Your gonna want to use references, and even put your self into there poses. (take pictures of yourself in said pose.)
take Eskimo man, he looks all wonky, not because he lacks attitude, but because the pose is all mixed up. the leg under the raised hip should be straight up and down.
this was just a quick edit, and its not perfect, but it might help. Also when you start adding depth don't forget that people aren't flat. instead of drawing boxes for the arm and body draw cylinders and cubes
