This is my first drawing created with the use of photoshop. Ofcourse I did the line-art myself, but i used photoshop for coloring. Since this is my first pic and first post, I could use some feedback (positive or negative  ) on my image.

All in all this is pretty solid work for a starter piece. I like the perspective, your lighting is good for the most part, and the composition isn't too bad. Now...

... Details! You have the architecture, now fill it in. Since I'm assuming this is an action scene, give it more action! The guy in the ship is... what? Shooting? I see the guy on the ground, with little bullet hits, but in the entire scene this is the only focal point for any kind of real action. Show tracer fire, flak, fire, smoke, I dunno. "War" it up! Detail the chopper. Add surface details to the floor, walls, control panels. Roughen it up, with shells on the floor (unless this is a beam-weapon world, in which case, I dunno, spent fuel cells or something) and other battle debris. Same with the ground. One nitpicky thing, the cannon in the chopper is overshooting the guy on the ground (or anything else for that matter).

I dig the motion you have going on with the rotors and the blur on the ground, but don't get too carried away with this. The background could stand to use a little more detail too, but focus on the foreground elements first.

Most of the time "adding stuff" doesn't help, but in this case there's obviously suff missing. Just be careful placing in detail elements, they can start looking like they were put in "just to fill the space" real quick.

I like it... now blow something up in it. :)

I like this too, and agree with Corrick. It looks very animated in style and I can appreciate that.
