heres a quick dirty sketch of an industrial fantasy character, the idea and the linework were inspired by an artist named Leslie Minnis.

It's funny. Though you certainly post a good deal of art, I think this is the first piece of "concept art" I've seen of yours outside of your gallery at the entrance (and the SP thread). I like the sketch. No comments other than it must be hard to fight in heels :)

BTW I've been meaning to congradulate you on F8. I know it's been out a while, but I still think it's one of the more visually appealing animated shorts I've seen.

sheesh Andrew...

This is definitely my favorite concept you've done...I love her left arm(note her left not ours)! btw the seeing the foot fit into the boot is really interesting.

I would love to see what you would come up with using more geometric shapes. While still integrating your manipulation of organic shapes...I think it could definitely broaden your horizon.

thanks,
-Joshua

Great concept. I like how you intigrated the
sharp(Minnis) corners. I really like the details
on the costume.
I'm not too in love with the pose but it gives us
all the info on the design.

You should paint this.

i really enjoy analysing your gothic "carapace" shield style for all the protections, it's very personal. reminds me of your bots. same way to build these amazing armors. yummie.

That's lovely

I love how your lines and shapes are subtle and slightly twisted, sometimes like yoshitaka amano (gosh i LOVE this artist)
