awesome, for some reason there is a problem with the depth in arm... not sure why. It visually sells but i think the color is the problem.

I like this, especially the bulky gorilla design and rustyness.

I think the coloring is a bit blury though. Add some edges and rusty texture and it will look great.

I agree about the blurry thing. That, combined with the horizontal composition, makes it seem like it's been stretched.
I really do like this though.Cool foggy atmosphere, nice use of negative space, great sillouettes. The robot design is sweet, not too sure about the extreme asymetrical arm, maybe add something to distribute his body weight convincingly.
All in all, kudos on a swell piece!

I think it would be even sadder and hammer home the title of the post if the bird was flying away from him, as he forlornly reaches out to it...

illustrations are funny things--if you hadnt put that title to the thread you wouldnt have gotten th esame sasd responses. For all we know he could be tryin to catch a bird for pigeon soup--the communication is all in the characters facial expression and body language--master that and youll need no title. ty great concept by the way

very nice... I think that everything is comunicated in the picture not the name... the creature really looks sad... and that it's stuck inside of a body it doesnt want.....

I like how asemetrical he looks .. espessially with his arms..
