I have to say that seeing your doodles is a pleasure in my opinion i love the way you jot down your lines ! and are so rough at the begining its reading a good book that doesnt have to describe the character or scene you can just see him id love to se more of anything you do thanks !

These look awesome Mr. Sweet. I like the looseness of these sketches and the excitement they exude...I don't think you would get that without the scrawling. Awesome as always.

man, that sargent painting(Mrs. Ralph Curtis) that they show on the site is right across the street from me here in cleveland. i go and look at it every week or two and have sketched from it many a time...it's one fine painting. and theres a fabulous bouguereau and a couple gerome's in the same room
wish i could get out to LA to see the show...hmm maybe spring break...

I can see a very in depth knowledge of the human form in your sketches jsweet. Even in these quick sketches the form of the muscles is very attractive to the eye. Great work.
Hey Jason the exhibition is from February 12th to May 11th. Lemme know what day you want to go...we can go together (if you want that is)...I am gonna try and drag foster down too to come see...maybe if i bait you guys with some free tickets we can all go together ;) . Lemme know though and I will get the tickets...I can get them for a discount cause I work for upenn. But I need to know what weekend fairly soon because these exhibitions usually sell out very quickly.

This last batch is fantastic. That sketch of the little girl has so much life in it. I feel like it doesn't even need anything else...it could be left alone and be a wonderful piece of art. Thanks for posting all these...these are a wonderful source of inspiration. The last sketch is amazing as well. Your rendering ability astounds me...awesome work man. I love your stuff. Post more if you can! hehe :o

I just wanna know, are those kids in your sketchs just some random kids you see, family, or just your imagination? Wow, I am not gonna add any more "you're so greats", cuz I think you've gotten your fill for the year. Though I will say you are a good artist from what I have seen.
