Reaper? Guardian?

This is just something I sketched out Sunday after I finally woke up. Been tinkering with the folds and shading of his robes for the longest time. Thought I'd ask for some crits(constructive :D) Values are a problem for me. I never know what is too dark or too light :confused:

So anyways here is about an hours or so worth of work:

nice id like to see some lighter values blended in to give in more depth though. keep it up brother. ehe

I agree, bring in some light. ^^ I like the idea though. Also it might not hurt to make the lines a little crisper imo. Epsecially with the black part behind him. I think it would really bring the point across of what the black part was if you added some thin crisp lines.
