Starting a new thread to keep track of my progress. The goal of this work is to increase the Speed and Quality of my figure drawing and painting. Paintings are done in Corel Painter, Drawings on paper with pencil. All critiques are welcome, Thnx for looking. Here is todays work.

The dynamic lighted figures are looking really good. You might want to try more of those with normal lighting though. The pencils are good too, however the porportions seem to get a tad off hear and there every once in a while.

Been working on line experiments and studies of facial features. I will post up the best of them in a few days but in the meantime here's some hair studies in painter. =FOX=

Worth a look. Keep working and try to get in some tech and environments here and there. It doesn't have to be your main thing, but such variety will help you to flesh out the occaisional piece that tells a story of some sort.

thx bloodstone. Thank you alot! I'm posting more and getting away from oil pastels for a long time and trying to learn how to use artists oils. It's difficult but I'm pushing harder than before. I'll try to paint the object on the desk in artist oils! hmm...if you come back you can see them to see if its good or not.

I use a "pose file" japanese book for the B&W female reference.
