illustrations for school - crit/help ?

Hello all together, actually I am working on an illustration project for school.
We are supposed to make 8 pages that illustate any type of text. I took a poem I wrote myself.
By now, its nearly done, I only need to add the text.

Originally it is in german, but I try to make an english translation for you, even when it wont rhyme.

hahaha i love them. no crit so far. for the "ross" one id choose n#1 (but outline the window aswell).

and the "frettchen" one doesnt read at all. id get rid of the black bg there. otherwise its really great to look through. keep it up.

[edit] eines was mir erst beim zweiten mal lesen aufgefallen ist, ist, dass alles wenns sind.... kein... ja was passiert dann wenn das alles passiert. aber abgesehen davon grossartig. ich bin begeistert.

Auch wenn du deutsch kannst, schreib ichs in englisch, damit die anderen es auch verstehen.

The last part of the poem:

... Dann hat man wieder ein Gedicht, doch sinnvoll ist auch dieses nicht.
... Then you get a poem again, but it's senseless too.

this "again" means, that there is another poem, that is written in the same way, but that one ends just with:
... Dann hat man ein Gedicht, doch sinnvoll ist es nicht.
... Then you get a poem, but it makes no sense.

there is no illustration for that, maybe I print in on the backside of the book. (Will be a very thin one)
