Hello all. I've been lurking CA for a few years now and never had the balls to post any of my work... until now. So I've decided to make myself a sketchbook thread in hopes of learning and growing as an artist. I appreciate all crits... all that I ask is you don't tare me a new one. So to start off here's some of my old & new.

The first is a monster concept I did for a close friend of mine.

The next four are of one page... I apologize for the poorly done cropping. But it includes a life drawing of myself and a few robot concepts; one of which I haven't finished as well as a few other assorted things I did while I was bored.

The sixth is a drawing of myself screaming... Unfinished. I'll definitely revisit it though.

The next two were skull studies I did with a well known book. "Artistic Anatomy"

The one after the skulls is just a few key designs I had for a story I'm working on.

After the key's are a few pages from my old sketchbook.

The next is a DSG I did... I believe it was a "Well to do croc has a fine meal."

The final one was just something I thought of. Probably my current favorite.

I love the monster concept, my favorite. and the skulls you've done are superb, but you are still lacking in anatomy. I suggest doing some life drawing and figure studies. Keep up the good work.

My Sketchbook- C&C very welcome

I don't know why you were worried about posting your art.
This is a fine start for your sketchbook!
I really love your concepts for your monsters and characters.
Great work.
Other than what envisor said, I suggest doing some animal sketches!
They help tons when creating creatures.
Keep them coming!

Envisor - Thank you for the compliment. As far as anatomy goes I do have some studies in my old sketch book that I plan on posting later on.

Anubis- Thanks I don't normaly do animals... Usually when I go to draw it starts off from some kind of shape or form and then I just continue adding things. However I'll do some animal sketches next along with some anatomy studies as suggested by Envisor. I have a few already which I will post.

Thank you guys!
