very '' heavy metal-comic-kinda-stuff'' (in a good way).

If you posted this in -WORK IN PROGRESS & HELP- you would get a better response.

hmmm... ;]

Anyways.. the right of her takes away from the piece. It doesn't seem to fit in. Also, the background behind her head.. that area is probably too light.

Nice piece otherwise.

thanks guys, sorry i posted it in the wrong section first.:iws:

Anyway, yeah I agree the far background would look better if it was darker. The staff may also be too distracting, have to tone it down a bit.

Decide what your points of interest are, and where your main source of light is. Emphasize those points and downplay everything else. Right now it looks like you're trying to hit everything with everything, you know? Don't worry if some detail gets lost in the process.

Thanks Tedsuo, I guess I have been worried about losing detail and that's been an obvious weakness with the pic. I'll try and focus interest more, not have all areas screaming for attention.
thanks:)

Hey Firechild, not bad coloring job. I know that it quit hard challenges to make more realistic like Heavy Metal magazines or like Julie Bell. She is really amazing artist. Anyway, who is Keu Cha & Joe Weems?

Keep it up good work and show me next step.
Cheer :chug:

BluePencilArtist: yeah, its hard for me anyway. :(
Keu & Joe are comic book artists.

I'll post up the next (hopefully better) step when I get a spare moment to work on it.
