Uhm...thought it'd be appropriate to post some art. It's not very new but I still like it enough to post it here. Adobe Photoshop 5.0, painted during a few hot days last summer.

wow, nice way of making it seam realistic, and like it is really in a tree. Can't wait to see more from ya.

cool image, i think that some more highlights on the feathers would add depth and detail to the shapes, also maybe reversing the colors of the gradation in the background would bring out the contrast of the dark spaces along the neck. hope this helps, good luck!

He looks like he's smiling...i like the overall look, but should the beak not a little bit more peaked?

Did you use any ref btw?

No I didn't use any reference.. And, no, I'm not very familiar with drawing birds...

Yeah, I suppose the beak could be a bit more peaky, but then again, the bird part of this gryphon was invented by me so it doesn't have to follow any specific pattern, it's 'fantasy' after all. :) As long as it looks pretty I'm happy. :P

No, its beak looks fine. Add glowing eyes....for the sake of adding glowing eyes :evilbat:

Thunder is sound. It doesn't come in Bolts. Lightning on the other hand does come in Bolts.

??? I just looked in a dict...a thunderbolt is a flash/lightning...but english is not my native languauge, so maybe you're right...:rolleyes: :)

ok scrap the glowing eyes....maybe a baby griffon thing nest next or under her?
