Hey all, I am new here.

Right now I have a lot of work going on in my studio. Aside from putting final touches on about 40 plein air paintings I have been working on these works:

Venus, life size, oil on linen

Been working on this painting for some time.

Himalayan Flight, charcoal on Rives BFK, 19x26"

Rives BFK paper is awesome...you can erase it for months and still have wonderful texture and feeling when you go back in.

Begining this 3x4' painting.

This painting is about life size, it is in the monochromatic stages...but will be in color after I get all the form and light in.

Cheers,

Michael

I really like Venus. I was actually looking around your site yesterday, you have some really great paintings. Very nice colours.
