Hi folks,

iam planning in studying 3d animation / 3d games art in the UK.

Now my question is which course to pick? Which uni is offering good courses.
Which unis you have to avoid in terms of quality. I dont live in the UK so i dont have that first hand knowledge.

I always hear that bournemouth is THE uni to study animation. But are there any alternatives?

I really appreciate every reply.
Hope someone can bring some light into darkness :)

We have one student at Max the Mutt (Toronto) who studied 3D in the UK and also worked for an animation company. According to her, the problem is fin ding a program that will give you enough traditional training before they put you on computer. You future success is linked to you skills in traditional representational art. Be sure you have a strong foundation! Also, look for classical animation training and a broad based education. If you want an animation career, you should be studying ALL aspects of animation, including background design, storyboarding and character design. You might take a look at the courses listed on our website, www.maxthemutt.com. Good luck!
