I've done everything I can think of to render these two. This project is a tryout piece for a job at an animation studio, so it's important that I fix them. The first is supposed to be cartooney, the second more realistic. http://members.fortunecity.com/wowbobs/nightcity.JPG http://members.fortunecity.com/wowbobs/sunsetcity.JPG

Anything you can think of would be appreciated, no matter how harsh. I want all the help I can get on this stuff. Please note that the drawing isn't mine, so I have to work with what the boss sent me. It's due sometime on Friday, but since I don't plan on sleeping tonight, I have PLENTY of time! Thanks for all your help!

After slaving away, I think I've got something now:

Somebody PLEASE say something about this stuff, even if you think it sucks. I would appreciate it. Thank you!

The fortune city images don't show. I even viewed the page source and typed in the address and all I got was the search page. The geocities images show after I went to them directly. They both have a cartoon look to them, day/night. I like the colors you chose, especially the night version. Even "cartoony" the buildings seem too off in perspective. "Build" the city in perspective first, then freeform the lines for the cartoon effect. Just my two cents.

Thank you. But darn it, like I said, it's not my drawing. I have absolutely no control of it. I'm rendering someone else's drawing, and cannot change it. When I get to do my own drawings, though, I'll keep it in mind. Thank you again.
