That is great work mang! There are only two things which made me double-take:

The biceps on the first color pic are a tad too short, and the orc(?) with one arm. There just seems to be a void of space where I keep thinking there needs to be something, anything. Tattered but empty sleeve etc.

Awesome work!

You have a good way of handling negative, positive space in those greyscale works. I've been looking at your pencil sketches, you manage to capture the actions and motion in those spontaneous line strokes. I truely love them.

That 'Dice' image is Xcelent - damn nice light and shade. wicked chiaroscuro - you make that lightsourcing up? if so - great work...as always, love the way the sketch stays in the finish.

Very cool stuff
i love how your colors almost look like watercolor,

i'm going to ask the age old annoying question...
Photoshop or Painter?

I'm 90% sure you are using photoshop.. the 10% is just me hoping that you used painter and i could figure out how to do that some time :P

Cos, that colored horse piece is amazing. The strokes and the edge control is great. His hand posture looks funky on the sword though.

Amazing stuff.

Awesome Work!! My only crit and it's a minor one, would be to give more appearance of sharper edges on the figures, and maybe add in some small details suck as hair or buttons..Very badass, though!!

Cos, nice to see you're continually refining your style, improving it piece by piece. The first piece is definitely cool. It makes a good study, and I'd love to see it in color. On the third I like how you're starting to put more background there. I think that adds a lot to that piece, and I wanna see more of that (yes, I know time is a bitch...can't always go all out on every piece). The second to last piece stands out for me amongst your colored work. Great design and movement. One critique I might offer, is that you could vary the intensity of the red in certain areas. Make it less saturated in the background for example. It's a personal preference, of course.

Wow man, those are great. The anatomy looks pretty good, the design is amazing. Great job. You seem to be able to indicate a flesh texture with all of them. Very impressive.

Sorry about the slow reply people, suck at forums nowadays.

Jnorish / michael see- Thanks guys, michael they were all painted digitally.

Irate Customer - Thanks, yeah agree on the bicep crit. Wanted to get his fists in as much as I could to convey some power, so hunched him a little and probably tried to fit in too much into the sideways style format, as something does look odd with the arms.

ShawnYe - Thanks for taking the time to go through my sketchbook stuff, glad you liked them!

marc_taro - Hey nice to hear from you, hope you're doing well! Thanks, yeah the lightsource was all made up, worked out as the painting went along. The window spaces just seemed a good idea to follow that through. Tried to inject a little more olden day feel into that piece, hope that came across.

alti / endregan - Cheers guys, alti pretty full plate lately with work, tho always open to new offers.

Davi - Thanks man, still using photoshop with a bunch of custom texture brushes etc. Will get my grips on painter eventually I reckon, gotta pump my machine with some more ram as it struggles with it at the moment.

Blackhawk- Thanks, never referenced the pose so not sure how correct it is. You're probably right tho, elbows could have been coming more towards us aswell now I look at it.

Crashman_120 - Thanks, time ran out for tweaks really, think the style gets away with at they stayed kinda sketchy loose intentionally, tho could have tightened a little aswell.

Oblio / Ant4d / TJ Verhagen / MindCandyMan / jrr - Thanks alot guys, appreciated :)

Sedone - Glad you liked 'em man, agree on the background thing in general I usually focus on characters as I enjoy doing them more I guess. I'm not sure if it really applies on these as these type of character illos can even get away with being on white, tho I wanted to add something in there just to give a bit more feel to the characters, make them a little more interesting as illustrations in general.

behemot5 / Atomicfate / Atmospheria / Tonin - Thanks!

Jezebel / Boom / krayz - Always means alot to hear from people that remember my stuff from years ago, something to show the hard work has been paying off somehow, thanks alot!

platypusStar / Loga4 / I.was.ink - Thanks :)
