I see lotsa pics where the legs kinda peter out or are not finished. Is that a style? I like seeing the big muscular legs to balance out the torso.

Somewhere around here is a pic of a plant guy. Fantastic rendition of an evenly developed top and bottom body. I think it was for a lawn spray ad or bug spray ad.

This guy would be great with some big meaty tree trunk like legs on him.

Good job, but I think you should get rid of the flame for hair. The insides of the wings look like they are popping in, not out, but unless you want that, I think some well placed shading and highlighting should help. The demons loin cloth with the chinese/japanese type writing is screwed up I think. This is because the loin cloth itself is wrinkled and isn't flat, but the typing is just flat, no bends or anything, like it isn't even on the cloth just floating there. Well thats about all, nice work, sorry for being so nit picky.

Pretty nice piece. It definitely has impact, but I would work on making some of the areas seem less flat. Especially the hands, his torso and shoulders have some nice depth to them, but the hands are too flat. Also, the anatomy of the hand and wrist that is holding the girl seems off. The wrist should probably be thinner and I think it would look better if the hand was more curled inward, so that you would see the back of his hand more than the fingers.... just a thought.

Happeh: I agree, I would like to see his whole body with the legs as well..... by the way: Doesn't "Happiness" have the word "piness" in it? :confused:

Thank you everyone!!! Yeah, after posting it, I noticed a lot of the same things everyone else did! I'm going to rework it and fix some of the things.

Happeh The only reason I took the legs off from the knees is because this design is going on a white t-shirt and I wanted the focus of the pic to be his upper half and not his lower. I agree with you however, there are a lot of pics where people don't finish the legs. I do have problems positioning them, but if I need the legs in the pic, I will keep screwing with them until they are right :D

I'm not saying this is the reason for you Drawblood, but quite often people will cut the legs off because they just don't want to deal with the feet. Feet are often very hard to draw, so it seems easier to have the feed kind of fade away or something. It's more of a "I don't wanna" than a style thing.

To me the demon looks like he's upset or screaming because of the girl, like she's driving him crazy. She seems very much a brat.
