Merry Christmas! And Io Saturnalia! It's still Christmas Eve and sunny over here on the East Coast of the US. My husband and I are doing Christmas Lite this year: we have a tiny little live tree in a pot, that I just finished decorating.

My husband doesn't know it yet, but I camped out in front of a game store last week and got him a Wii for his present. ;-) Watching his expression is going to be SO much fun!

Gave a wii to my family this year, watching my mom and dad jump around playing wii sports was worth the price and then some. :D My brothers stayed up until 5 in the morning playing it, and i'm now the favorite big brother. :P


I got lots of booze, socks and stuff for the new apt. Exactly what i needed. I also got a bunch of bridgeman and hogart from amazon, exept the package didnt arrive in the mail yet. :P

Despite some crappy stuff (My sis and her friends, my cousin's cheating wife not letting him stay night at HIS house and watching his kids open up presents.... bitch...) This Christmas was really nice. Church got everyone in a good mood (The priest is from Nigeria, really open festive guy.... but one of his songs required clapping, heh, don't try to teach us white folks this 'rhythm' thing :P) Presents were nice, everyone liked what they got (gears of war and a new lcd monitor pour moi, plus some other fun bits)

SO, christmas is aaaalright :)

EDIT: OH! And santa was nice enough to turn the temprature down enough for us to have a LOT of frost on the ground, so it WAS a white Christmas around my place :)

Justin, I know exactly what you mean...my wife and I have our birthadys right after Christmas, too, and their both on holidays...New years and ML King's Day. Since we don't have a lot of family left, we just go through the christmas junk and figure out a list of what we forgot and give it to each other then... Works fine.
