hi all:)here a piece of painting did 2 years back when i was in the 1st year in college.18 hours solid..done fully in water colors.objective was to train our obsevation skills..
the lecturer gave us a month to complete this..whereas..i did this last minute..so its kinda rush..:)take a look and tell me what ya'll think?

Wow. Nice style and detail, but the faces of the little people seem to be really white or something and I can barely make out the faces because of that. Probably because of the white background. Nice piece of art though, very nice. :chug:

traditional or digitla media...i don't do computers yet, so i can't tell! :) awesome image, looks a lot like this turkish art show i saw last week.

Jesus, it must have been painful to do that kind of detail in watercolor. How big is this? Your color relationships are right on; it looks very realistic.

hey..:)thanx tedsuo..yeah..indeed this is hell a torturing piece of art..i used the entire day to paint this..started of at 6pm..ended in the next afternoon 12 pm..its 18 hours.its just an art block size..however..the result was pleasurable..i couldn't believe that i've actually done this..

thanx again incognito:)well i actually took half an hour nap in the middle of the night and then continue again till the next day afternoon..took my dinner earlier that day and started of till the next day..skipped the breakfast as well..

hmm..yeah.some would confused that this is the real thing..its ok..i'll show u guys the real picture as soon as i scan it..u'll be able to tell the difference then:)i wasn't the best in my class for this painting..didn't even get an 'A' for this.;)

You didn't get an A?! THAT IS WRONG! SUE THE TEACHER!!!
hehe, sorry, its just such a great piece of art. That reminds me of the only private art class I have ever tooken(if I remember correctly) where the teacher would say great work to everyones painting/drawing, but when he looked at yours he would say like nothing....hate art classes now...usually. Yeah, Great work, like always. Sorry for rambling.

nope.its ok~.no A for this.the result does not matter much..just as long as i learn something out of it..well i did use refference on this..nothing wrong with the lecturer..mainly becoz he set a high expectation on us..:)thanx anyway
