Well, before this the only painting i did was in middle school and i cant even remember what they made us do back then. This painting is a landscape that i thought up in my mind, based on my memories of Lake Bomoseen in Vermont and sunsets i have seen.
First i did a greyscale

Then recreated it with color. *only 2 complimentary colors were used

edit - now that i look at that color, im going to fix it up to be more like the original black and white.
