Hello all! I'm the frontman for a band called 'The Juice'. We've currently just finished recording our debut mini album, and we'll be distributing this internationally via our website, MSN, Itunes, Virgins, HMV etc.
I was simply gob smacked at the amount of talent moving around in this forum. The reason Im here however, is because we're looking for someone to design a new logo and the album cover art for our band. We chose 'Blood for Water' as the title of our album because most of our songs reflect current world affairs either directly or indirectly namely the death of a 17 yr old boy named Victor Daza during the Water riots in Bolivia.
The logo/CD Cover design can be as simple or elaborate as you like as long as it fits our style and music and it (logo/artwork) is original in nature. We are usually compared to bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Free, Deep Purple etc. Our music has been dubbed 'Rootsey yet very now'. We're looking for a logo that reflects that direction, and would encourage anyone to look to those bands logos/album covers for inspiration (no "death metal" designs please).
I must admit that we're not an established band so we're short of money really.
But if we decide to go ahead with any of your ideas, we would gladly pay some cash your way through Paypal for your services as well as credit the designer for the design creation on our album, website, Itunes, MSN and anything else we use the logo for in the future.
